Ok if you're out the loop let me bring you in real quick, here's the glide. Hot 97 & Power 105.1 are two U.S Hip Hop radio stations and in a nutshell they don't fucks with each other that's just the way it is and has been for some time, no major beef just a you stay over there we stay over here kinda thing, cool. Now what lit a fire up under this situation was when Hot 97 threw their annual concert Summer Jam, of course the big Hot 97 DJ's were out, Funkmaster Flex & Peter Rosenberg repped hard and tore it down like they always do there's no disputing that, BUT a DJ doesn't just turn tables o no they talk on the mic.

Hot 97 had booked YMCMB to headline the event, Rosenberg has already made his opinions clear about what he thinks of Young Money's leading lady Nicki Minaj and her latest music. He doesn't class it as hip hop and that's his opinion but the company you work for still hired her to perform so maybe you could've bit your tongue this time? NAH he let rip during his set saying 'this is real hip hop none of that starships shit' starships being Nicki's hit record at the time. YMCMB CEO Lil Wayne got wind of the sly diss from Rosenberg and pulled the plug on anybody from his camp performing at this years Summer Jam (with the exception of Tyga who had already performed).
Anyway, Flex then got up on stage to do his thing and also made a sly remark bout real hip hop, something that was regarded by many as diss to Nicki. Charlamagne and Nicki are close friends and the Breakfast Club team over at Power 105.1 really just don't get on with Hot 97 so therefore they had stuff to say on their radio station. This has been a back on forth thing ever since with the rest of the parties involved falling back it's become Charlamagne VS Funk Master Flex, two very opinionated radio personalities. Funk Flex has been tearing Charlamagne apart on his radio show for weeks and honestly he's had the upper hand until now.
