Frank Ocean & Nas Collab Falls Through Due To 'Technical Error'

Hmmm, this smells a bit fishy to a lot of people including some in The Glide Blog team. As we all know Frank Ocean recently openly admitted he was a gay/bisexual man we're not clear which one exactly but his first love was a man bla bla bla we all made our little remarks but at the end of the day Frank remains one of the greatest new talents the industry's seen without a doubt.

Now it's believed that Nas & Frank were supposed to collaborate for Frank's up coming debut album 'Channel Orange' but the collab won't be on the album due to a "technical error" according to Ocean.  We hope this isn't a cover up and that the real reason the song isn't coming out is due to Nas or his team/label etc not wanting him to work with Frank now the world knows he's gay, the thought alone that the sexual orientation of another human being can hinder their chances of making a living sickens me to my stomach and is a spit in the face of all the great adversity our people and music have overcome, this would be a step backwards instead of forward. If Nas can see past Rick Ross' correctional officer past and collaborate with him then why can't he see past Frank's being gay. Jokes are all good and well but when it starts spoiling the music we need to step up and fight for what's right.

In Nas' or whoever may be responsible's favour it could be down to the nature of the song as the the song was or is (wherever the hell it is) is titled 'There Is No White Jesus' again controversial but again Nas did name his album the N Word so since when did he shy away from controversy? It's all a bit hmmmmm at the moment and all we have to go by is what Frank has told us. Hopefully the 'technical error' will get rectified & or they'll collaborate in the future.. musically not in bed! Just kidding Frank we love you're music this is hip hop though expect such banter, we're still proud to have your talents in this brilliant industry.
